The motion design community is a tight-knit community in NYC. Supporting the community nowadays is more important than ever! So when I joined the XR Motion group dedicated to networking and fostering creativity, I began aiding in filming and social media posts to help bring attention to the community and its people!

The First XR Motion Conference was one of the most ambitious projects the group took on, culminating in close to 200 paid attendees for a one day event that saw 4 major industry speakers, 10 local industry luminaries, and dozens of demos and exciting creative projects for people to interact with.

For my contributions, I helped create the animated motion graphic videos hyping, viral social media videos and lead the creation of live animated video graphics that played during the conference and in the hallways. Some videos were informative, while some displayed trivia to engage attendees throughout the day and all were given glowing reviews for how professional and fun they were!

Title Animations

Each of these main speaker graphic cards included a short edit of the speakers reel so that attendees can digest what the speaker does before even showing up to the scheduled presentation. Making it easier for people to decide if they want to catch the speaker or focus on other workshops or tasks around the conference.

The all important agenda graphic that can keep attendees in the know of the schedule for the day. The challenge with these graphics were mostly due to last minute schedule changes but the concept was fairly easy to execute.

These graphics were meant to be displayed prominently when you first walk in and throughout the halls outside of the rooms where most of the conference events took place. These visuals were informative, engaging and were said by all of the attendees to make this first conference held by my team seem highly polished and professional.
